Action For Kids exists to support disabled children and young people to live the life they want - just like everyone else.
We do this by working with students aged 14 to 19 who have special educational needs to ensure they gain the most from their school experience and that their voices are heard.
For students no longer in full time education, we teach practical skills in money management, living independently and how to access services. We also have full time job coaches who organise training and job placements with the aim of supporting young people into paid work.
Our national mobility project provides any kind of mobility equipment not available on the NHS for children and young people up to the age 26.
